Group supports cancer foundation

THE Tunku Laksamana Johor Cancer Foundation (TLJCF) received a RM15,000 contribution from Daiman Group.

“We would like to help cancer patients who cannot afford the often expensive treatment costs,” said the group’s managing director Tay Thiam Song after presenting a mock cheque for the amount to Tunku Panglima Johor Tunku Abdul Rahman Sultan Ibrahim at an event in Kampung Sinaran Baru here.

“The foundation is an excellent initiative by the Johor royal family we are glad to support such a noble cause,” he added.

Tay said the group’s Menara Landmark Medical Suites here also has a cancer centre. – By NORBAITI PHAHARORADZI
